Secondary school students in Tameside are wearing face masks once again as the borough continues to battle Covid. Tameside currently has the third-highest infection rate in Greater Manchester, with more than 1,000 positive cases in the latest weekly figures.
In a letter sent to parents and carers last Friday, secondary school pupils were asked to wear face coverings at school again from today (October 19).
