Formula 1 fans have claimed that Mick Schumacher’s crash in Saudi Arabian Grand Prix was to stop Lewis Hamilton ’s record win.

The German driver suffered a heavy crash which caused damage to the barrier and forced the race to be stopped on the 14 th lap, after the safety car was initially deployed.

Several drivers including leader Hamilton had taken the opportunity to pit, which allowed Max Verstappen to enter the lead. The English driver is looking to win a record eighth Championship and beat Michael Schumacher ’s record.
