A former Manchester United goalkeeping coach has reminded Donny van de Beek that "there are plenty of clubs" out there if his Old Trafford dream fails.
But he has also advised the Dutchman to wait and see if anything changes before making any rash decisions this January. Frans Hoek worked as a goalkeeping coach under Louis van Gaal at Manchester United and is the latest Dutchman to wade into the Van de Beek debate.
Ever since Van de Beek signed for United in the summer he has received advice from pundits and former professionals back home, disappointed he isn't playing every week.
Speaking to Voetbal International, Hoek said of Van de Beek: "It is a big transition, from the Eredivisie to the Premier League.
