Manchester United welcomed new signing Amad Diallo into training for the first time this week. Diallo, who has completed his £37million transfer from Atalanta, was thrown straight in to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first-team squad ahead of Sunday’s top of the table clash with Liverpool.
The teenage winger has arrived with high hopes and his first session was documented on United’s official YouTube channel. But whilst all eyes were on Diallo, it was out-of-favour midfielder Donny van de Beek who grabbed attention with a fine goal.
Diallo was left visibly frustrated as he made a smart attacking run but Fred and Jesse Lingard’s interchange lost possession before they could play it through to their new team-mate.
