Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's style of play criticised by Man Utd coach from Louis van Gaal era
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 's style of play at Manchester United has been criticised by the club's former goalkeeping coach Frans Hoek, who claimed United 'don't play impressively'. Hoek was part of the coaching staff at Old Trafford under Louis van Gaal and worked at clubs like Ajax, Barcelona and Bayern Munich before joining United. The Red Devils never finished higher than fourth in the Premier League under Van Gaal but they currently sit top under Solskjaer. However, Hoek is not impressed with the work Solskjaer is doing, claiming the reason United are top is because "the rest of of the teams do not reach their usual level." Speaking to Voetbal International, Hoek said: "Of course I follow them, but I don't think they play impressively.
