Aston Vill transfer target Daniel Sturridge is on the lookout for a new club after leaving Turkish side Trabzonspor. Sturridge, released by Liverpool last summer, joined the club on a three-year deal last summer.
But he has had his contract terminated by mutual consent after scoring just four goals in 13 appearances. He last appeared in a 2-2 draw away at Besiktas on February 22 but is now considering his options with his spell cut short.
Whilst Sturridge now becomes a free agent, the ex-England striker is unable to head to the Premier League during the season.
