Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.

Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Ex-Britain's Got Talent choirboy Andrew Johnston in court accused of raping two women

Britain's Got Talent finalist Andrew Johnston has appeared in court accused of raping to women.The former choirboy, who came third place on the ITV show back in 2008, was charged on two accounts of rapes in 2020.

He allegedly raped one woman at an address in West London in November 2019.READ MORE: Simon Cowell feared he'd be castrated during terrifying America's Got Talent stuntJohnston, now 27, has also been charged with sexually assaulting her in March 2020, The Sun report.He is also accused of raping another woman in a flat in South London between January and February 2020.Johnston appeared before Westminster magistrates on Wednesday and was granted bail.He did not enter a plea and will appear at Southwark crown court for a pre-trial hearing on September 7.Since 2017, Johnston has been working as a roofer.Now sporting a beard, Johnston is unrecognisable from the 13-year-old who made Amanda Holden cry during his rendition of Pie Jesu 13 years ago.During his initial audition, Johnston claimed that he was bullied and victimised from the age of six because of his singing.
