New research reveals many patients with long Covid have been unable to return properly to work as much as six months after infection, and many claim they are "not believed" when they seek help.
One in five people who have tested positive for coronavirus have gone on to develop longer-term symptoms amounting to so-called long Covid.
While most people recover from Covid-19 within two or three weeks, there have been some who have reported experiencing symptoms for months on end.
