Everton legend Leighton Baines has officially retired from football after the Toffees' were beaten 3-1 by Bournemouth. Baines has been at Goodison Park since 2007 after signing from Wigan Athletic and the 35-year-old retires third on the club's all-time appearance list, having played 348 Premier League games for Everton.He came on as a substitute in the 70th minute for Lucas Digne to make his final Toffees appearance after Carlo Ancelotti was unable to persuade him to stay at Everton for a 14th season.Speaking after the game, Ancelotti paid tribute to the left-back, saying: "It is a performance that we could expect, it was the last game of the season and the motivation was not so strong.
