MEN Sport understand Bailly, 27, is now ready to commit his future to United after being given reassurances over his playing time beyond the current season.
The former Villarreal defender has only played 15 times for United so far this season and the club were concerned by Bailly's brittleness that has reduced him to just 100 appearances in nearly five years.
