Gareth Southgate will take a 30 per cent pay cut in order to help the NHS' bid to save lives as they continue to fight againt coronavirus.
The England manager has agreed to defer a chunk of his salary, with the decision emerging just hours after the PFA challenged similar calls for Premier League players to do the same.
Regarding Southgate's decision, an FA spokesman told Sky Sports News: "The financial implications of the coronavirus are not yet known however, as a not-for-profit organisation, we want to ensure that we take the appropriate course of action to support the wider organisation and our employees.
