England boss Gareth Southgate phoned the team's bus driver to comfort him after he tragically lost his wife to coronavirus.
Mark Beaumont, 54, has been left devastated after his wife Sharon, 42, died after contracting the killer virus. The mum-of-five passed away on Good Friday at the Princess Royal Hospital, in Orpington, Kent.
Mark has driven Gareth and the team to and from the St George's Park training ground, Wembley for matches and airports for international fixtures, for almost five years.
Following his wife's death Mark received an outpouring of love and support from his community with £11,000 being raised through a GoFundMe page.
