Ricky Dene Gervais (born 25 June 1961) is an English stand-up comedian, actor, writer, film producer, director and musician. He is perhaps best known for creating, writing and acting in the British television series The Office (2001–2003). He has won seven BAFTA Awards, five British Comedy Awards, two Emmy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards and the Rose d'Or twice (2006 and 2019), as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination. In 2007, he was placed at No. 11 on Channel 4's 100 Greatest Stand-Ups and at No. 3 on the updated 2010 list. In 2010, he was named on the Time 100 list of the world's most influential people.

Emily Atack is not the only star in her family. The actress has shared a rare selfie on Instagram with her famous musician dad Keith.

The 32-year-old posted the snap to her 1.8 million followers as she posed next to her film composer dad in what appeared to be a wine bar.She penned: "Couple of days with papa Keith."The blonde beauty looked glamorous as she wore minimal makeup and beamed at the camera.She styled her long blonde locks in beach waves as she enjoyed a glass of wine.Emily's dad once appeared on Top of the Pops in British 70s pop band Child.Later in life he became a film score composer and is well known for his work on 16 Years of Alcohol, Cemetery Junction and Wayland’s Song.Keith and his actress wife Kate Robbins were together for 19 years before they divorced.Emily's mum Kate found fame in the 1980's as a singer and is now an actress herself.Recently she wowed fans after appearing in Ricky Gervais' comedy-drama After Life.Inbetweeners actress Emily gushed over her mum at the weekend as she shared snaps of her starring in the Netflix series.Kate played erotic novelist Penny Spencer-Wright as Emily told fans how "proud" she is of her.Alongside the post, Emily wrote: "Proud isn't even the word.
