Eddie Large's widow has spoken about the last time they spoke before his tragic death from coronavirus. Patsy Scott, who was married to the comedian from 1983 until his death, broke down in tears as she appeared on Good Morning Britain with their son Ryan on Monday.

The couple couldn't be together at the end because of the strict rules keeping coronavirus patients in isolation in hospitals.

But Patsy said they spoke on the phone just hours before he died and he promised they'd speak again. "I've got to go darling, I'll speak to you in the morning," he told her.
