EastEnders fans have called on soap bosses to put the Slaters in charge of the Queen Vic after it was revealed that Mick Carter is quitting the job.

The Sun revealed yesterday that Mick, played by Danny Dyer, would no longer be pulling pints in order to help is wife Linda with her alcoholism.

This means the famous landlord and landlady job will be up for grabs and viewers think they know just the family to take over – the Slaters.
