EastEnders legend Jake Wood has revealed that he's "excited to see what's around the corner" in a touching social media post after quitting the BBC soap.
It was announced last week that the 48-year-old actor would be leaving Albert Square for good after 15 years as charming car salesman Max Branning.In an Instagram post today, he reflected on Max’s all-action history on the BBC One soap while thanking bosses for agreeing to leave the door open for his character to potrnally return to Walford.The former Strictly Come Dancing star wrote: “After 15 years I will be leaving Eastenders at the end of this year."I have loved playing Max Branning who amongst other things in that time has had 4 marriages, 10 affairs, 4 children (2 dying from falling.
