EastEnders is introducing a beer garden outside the Queen Vic so that they are able to shoot scenes externally. The BBC cast and crew returned to filming last month, however new episodes won't air until the autumn.The coronavirus pandemic will be used as a background element to storylines, which may pub the Queen Vic shut its doors during the first few episodes because of lockdown.But new aerial shots circulating online show pink parasols and outdoor tables and benches on Albert Square.This means Queen Vic regulars will be able to enjoy a pint by socially distancing outside in the space just across the street from the pub's main entrance.The beer garden is just one addition to the soap's brand new £87million set.These also includes a mural.
