EastEnders has introduced a beer garden outside the Queen Vic so that they are able to shoot scenes externally. The cast and crew returned to filming last month, but new episodes won't air until the autumn.
The coronavirus pandemic will be used as a background element to storylines, which may see the pub shut during the first few episodes due to lockdown.
However, new aerial hots show the pink parasols and outdoor tables and benches on Albert Square. This means that the Queen Vic's patrons will be able to enjoy a pint by socially distancing outside, just across the street from the main entrance of the pub.
