Eastenders will receive a double helping on Monday evening as the programme is scheduled to air twice due to BBC's Prince Philip coverage on Friday night.The East London-based drama, which usually airs on Fridays at 8.30pm, was placed on hiatus due to the sudden death of Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh.Tonight, viewers will be given the chance to catch up on Eastenders as Friday and Monday’s episode will be shown back to back from 8:10pm.ITV will also follow suit with their schedules, as they prepare to run hour-long episodes of both Emmerdale and Coronation Street on Tuesday night from 7pm.BBC One and ITV decided to make drastic changes to their schedules following the sad news of Prince Philip’s death and opted to ditch their regular.
