An East Kilbride bakery which closed its doors amid the coronavirus outbreak is looking to trial a home delivery service. Artisan Buon Giorno Bakery which has shops in the Village and St Leonards took the hard decision to shut after government restrictions on pubs, clubs, restaurants and cafes were tightened.
They joined businesses across the town and East Kilbride Village who closed with only essential retailers being told to stay open.
But the owners have taken to Facebook and given a ray of hope to all their customers missing their fresh breads and sweet treats.In a message they say: "We are looking into trialling a delivery service next week for a small selection of our products which will all be baked fresh daily.
