Dundee's Covid death toll now at 300 after one fatality recorded overnight

Data from Public Health Scotland also shows that 88 new cases were recorded overnight in the city. The city's death toll - composed of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days - now sits at exactly 300.
In total, Dundee has recorded 21,612 cases of Covid-19 since the pandemic began. The latest local vaccination data shows 85.9% of the over-16 population have received at least one coronavirus vaccination, and 79.2% have received at least two.Around 50.4% of city children aged 12 to 15 have also received at least one Covid jab.Across the country, 3,495
