Rangers legend Ally McCoist has recalled the moment Lisbon Lion Bertie Auld epically embarrassed him on a flight to New York.
The beloved Celtic legend sadly passed away aged 83, and is fondly remembered for his ability on the park and his patter off the pitch.
It was on a trip Stateside that Rangers hero McCoist was on the end of a classic stitch-up from Auld and his European Cup winning teammates.
He told BT Sport's Scottish Football Extra of a time where he attempted to give the Parkhead icon a bit of a wind-up, but Auld was a step ahead.McCoist said: "I was flying over to New York and it was the worst flight in the world for me.
