David Robert Joseph Beckham OBE (born 2 May 1975) is an English former professional footballer, the current president of Inter Miami CF and co-owner of Salford City. He played for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, Milan, LA Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain and the England national team, for which he held the appearance record for an outfield player until 2016. He is the first English player to win league titles in four countries: England, Spain, the United States and France. He retired in May 2013 after a 20-year career, during which he won 19 major trophies.

In-demand Lewis Morgan could be on his way to the Big Apple with the former Celtic ace poised to join New York Red Bulls. The 25-year-old Inter Miami winger crossed the Atlantic at the start of 2020 and has been a major hit for the MLS new boys.

But the former St Mirren playmaker is now set for a £900,000 Red Bulls switch as Miami look to raise cash required to pay off an MLS fine for breaching competition financial rules.The deal has been agreed by both clubs but won’t be signed off until later this month.

Morgan cost Miami around £400,000 when they signed him from Celtic and he has played a key role in establishing the club, part owned by David Beckham.
