Duffy breaks silence after harrowingly revealing she was drugged and raped

Welsh vocal powerhouse Duffy has broken her social media silence after bravely telling the world about how she was harrowingly drugged, raped and held capitative.

The BRIT Award winner logged into her official Instagram account before offering to sent BBC radio host Jo Whiley a new song.

In an open letter to Jo, Duffy insisted the track isn't an official single and neither has it been authorised by her record label Universal Music.

However, she hopes it will help lift people's spirits as they self-isolating around the world. Alongside a professional snap of herself, Duffy wrote: "Hi Jo (Whiley) "Hope you are well and keeping safe. "Wanted to send you this to play on the radio, if you want. "You may have read the words I wrote a few weeks
