A drunken passenger who farted in an Uber has ended up with a conviction for assault. James Mallett let rip as Aleksander Bonchev was driving him to Chasers night club in Kingswood, Bristol.
But him breaking wind was the last straw for Bonchev who had suffered abuse from other fares so he kicked Mallett out of his car, Bristol Live reports.
Bristol Crown Court heard when Mallett left the car he assaulted Bonchev, who hit him back in self-defence. David Scutt, prosecuting, said Mr Bonchev received a call to collect Mallett and three other people and take them to Chasers.
