Officers found the illicit items - including a machete and a baton - hidden in a safe in the wardrobe of Karlton Cheetham. Cocaine discovered in the 31-year-old's Trafford home had a street value of more than £100,000.
But Cheetham, of Gibson Way, Broadheath in Altrincham, walked free after the court heard how had become indebted as a result of his own addiction.
