Driving examiners will have to wear gloves and masks to keep learners safe from Coronavirus, test chiefs have said. But Gareth Llewellyn, Chief Executive of the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) could not say when lessons and tests will start again.
In a letter to instructors and examiners, Mr Llewellyn said: "I know the last few months have been challenging. I know the uncertainty is worrying. "And I know you are concerned about how you can support your customers, your business and your family." The DVSA suspended all driving tests for up to three months from March 20.
