Argyll and Bute saved a fallen climber on Sunday after they were injured on a mountain in Arrochar. The climber, who got into trouble on Creag Tharsuinn was air lifted by helicopter to safety.Arrochar Mountain Rescue received a call yesterday and were assisted by Maritime and Coastguard Agency and Rescue 199 in getting the climber to safety.Video footage shows the terrifying moment the male climber is lifted on a stretcher up to the helicopter.Teams with rescue and medical equipment were dropped near the scene to help the stranded climber before they were lifted from the mountain.Arrochar Mountain Rescue said: “The team were called out this afternoon to assist a fallen climber on Creag Tharsuinn.“With assistance from Maritime and Coastguard.
