The former Love Island star, 29, has been putting in long hours during gruelling shifts in the battle against the deadly bug as an NHS doctor at a Lewisham hospital.
His brave efforts have unfortunately resulted in him being kept apart from his beau Amelia after he made the decision to live alone to protect her.
Accompanied with a series of sweet throwback snaps of the pair, Alex told fans he has been missing "being at home together" with his stunning girlfriend.
