expressed their concerns over the guidelines for hairdressers in England. Currently, they have to wear visors, not masks.Visors are inadequate, they say, and should be worn in addition to a mask, not instead of (which is exactly Scotland’s current advice for hairdressers and barbers).

And I’d have to agree - as do many hairdressers that are having to go above and beyond government guidelines. I've followed the government’s rulebook for hairdressers and beauty salons from the get-go, and let's just say there's been a huge deal of confusion on the guidance (surprise, surprise).

This was an industry that spent three months guessing what they thought the guidelines would be. Because they had to start getting their businesses ready.
