If you’ve been wondering just what the Academy Award ceremony will look like this year, well…some details are beginning to emerge.
We already know that the Oscar telecast will be split between two locations, but now, more is coming out. Specifically, in a letter sent to nominees by producers Jesse Collins, Stacey Sher, and Steven Soderbergh, they’ve revealed that this will largely feel like an in-person event.
So, yes, that means no Zoom, among other things. You can read the whole letter below, but it’s an interesting plan, if perhaps somewhat impractical as the current pandemic is hardly behind us.
