Sex, body odour and sun cream, Love Island is one programme to mash together all kinds of weird mixes.Host Laura Whitmore revealed the villa smells badly of BO thanks to the number of contestants lathering themselves up with fake tan and suncream. She told Alan Carr's Life's A Beach podcast: "If you think about it that amount of people - like about 40 or 50 Islanders go through it throughout the whole summer - it starts off at about 10 or 12 or whatever and then more keep going in..."And they're like 18-year-olds - the carpet, the fake tan, the makeup, the BO - it stinks!"Fans of the show last night also claimed the show was staged following a fight between Gemma and Luca. The show has run into problems, with some contestants suffering after appearing on the programme.Producers of Love Island claim it is "absolutely untrue" to say that things in the villa are deliberately staged or scripted. They said: "As anyone who watches the show regularly would know, Love Island is a combination of reality and produced elements that are reflective of what’s happening in the villa, and is a fair and accurate representation of villa life."It is absolutely untrue to suggest that Love Island is fake, staged or scripted.
The opinions they have and the relationships formed are completely within the control of the Islanders themselves.”Love Island viewers claim to have rumbled a 'staged' fight between Gemma Owen and Luca Bish when she called him by her ex's name, Jacques, who is also in the villa. It lead to some drama and an argument between the two.
Gemma said: "Don't roll your eyes at me you p***k, it's a genuine mistake. I'm sorry, there's nothing more to it."Liam Llewellyn quit the villa after finding the first few days a little tougher.
