homeless man slept at a Scots police station after he claims council bosses told him they could not find anywhere for him to stay.
William McColgan, who had committed no crime, said he spent last Monday and Tuesday nights at the Oban cop shop which he claims was on the advice of Argyll and Bute Council bosses.
The 38-year-old from County Tyronne in Northern Ireland had moved to Scotland just two weeks before to seek work but has fallen on tough times.
When he arrived in Oban and found he he had nowhere to stay he contacted Argyll and Bute Council through the Homeless Project Scotland charity.
