Sign up today for the biggest and brightest stories sent straight to your inboxThe dentist who killed Cecil the lion has reportedly forked up to £80,000 on another hunting trip.American Walter Palmer, 60, allegedly slayed a huge ram in Mongolia known as Altai argali, the world’s biggest type of sheep.His trip last August is thought to have lasted up to a week, after he travelled 5,800 miles from his home state of Minnesota.Palmer and his friend Brent Sinclair met local guides before heading into the mountains to track their prey, it is claimed.

It is believed the animal was killed with an arrow from around 30 yards, the Daily Mirror reports. A source claims Palmer has several more trips.
