Denise van Outen has told of her horror after discovering that burglars rifled through her knicker drawer - and stole a little memento.The TV star opened up about the incident on Steph's Packed Lunch, saying that she was burgled after "making the mistake" of sharing on social media that she was away and that her house was empty.She revealed the burglars went through her underwear and hinted that they swiped a sex toy."It is the worst feeling," she said. "Anybody out there who has been burgled I sympathise with you.

It is awful."Denise, 47, said that her home was "completely ransacked"."The worst part for me after that burglary was they took random things but they also went through my knicker drawer," she said."So I just know that they have taken, I can't say what they took, but you can imagine. "But there is some fella in a pub - or woman - waving it around!"She later quipped that she just wanted her "device" back and roared with laughter as another guest tried to move on to a different subject by teasing: "Talking of rabbits..."Joking aside, Denise told Steph McGovern and co that after the burglary she had learned to keep quiet about certain things on social media.The star, who is mum to 11-year-old daughter Betsy with former flame Lee Mead, said she had also tightened up her security measures to try and prevent it from happening again."Just that feeling of walking into your house and it's been completely turned over... " she said."They never caught the burglars and I just had to up the security and take those steps towards making my home a safer place and being more aware.""It is the worst feeling, it's horrible," she added.Steph's Packed Lunch airs on weekdays on 12.30pm on Channel 4.
