dailystar.co.ukManchester City shirt - when son Mateo got to watch him play at the Etihad for the first time.Silva was forced to miss large chunks of the 2017/18 season after his first child was born 25 weeks prematurely and faced a battle to survive.City boss Pep Guardiola allowed Silva to fly back to Spain to visit Mateo and partner Yessica in a Valencia hospital, where he spent five months fighting for his life.But once Mateo had got better eight months later he went to the Etihad to watch his dad make his 25oth Premier League appearance.And Silva celebrated the occasion with a special goal for his special boy in a 6-1 thumping of Huddersfield Town at the start of the following season.Silva, who took mascot Mateo onto the pitch before kick off, admits.
