Lionel Messi's father Jorge has reportedly told PSG his son wants to move to Manchester City. The French club are among the leading candidates to sign Barcelona's captain given their financial muscle.
But PSG's sporting director Leonardo has suffered a blow at the first hurdle after being informed Messi has made his mind up on a switch to England.
French publication L'Equipe report that Leonardo received the disappointing news during a phone call with Jorge. That now puts City firmly in the driving seat to land Messi's signature this summer providing they are able to strike a deal with Barcelona.
