David Byrne returned to Saturday Night Live for the first time in more than 30 years on Feb. 29.Byrne's appearance on the late-night comedy sketch show follows his phenomenally successful 20-week extended Broadway run of American Utopia.For his first song, Byrne -- dressed in an all-gray suit -- took the audience back to the 1980s with a theatrical performance of the Talking Heads classic "Once in a Lifetime." Later in the show, the 67-year-old musician performed his 2008 collaboration "Toe Jam" with the 11-member Brighton Port Authority.In addition to being the musical guest, Byrne also appeared in a music-filled sketch titled "Airport Sushi," which also featured a cameo by Jake Gyllenhaal.
