David Robert Joseph Beckham OBE (born 2 May 1975) is an English former professional footballer, the current president of Inter Miami CF and co-owner of Salford City. He played for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, Milan, LA Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain and the England national team, for which he held the appearance record for an outfield player until 2016. He is the first English player to win league titles in four countries: England, Spain, the United States and France. He retired in May 2013 after a 20-year career, during which he won 19 major trophies.

David Beckham couldn't let this very different Bonfire Night totally go up in smoke. Public firework displays and events have been cancelled in the UK as England today begins a second national lockdown.

The only people allowed in are your household and support bubble - but that didn't mean the Beckhams stayed inside. David hit the back garden for a low key celebration with his son.

The 45-year-old took Cruz, 15, out into the cold and they had fun with the sparklers. He shared a snap on social media, captioning one shot: "Tonight's a slightly different firework night but at least we have sparklers." Not to be outdone, Cruz shared an image of his sparkler - even if there wasn't any firework banging in the back garden.
