DANIEL Craig has paid tribute to Sir Sean Connery, saying the James Bond star had "wit and charm in mega watts" and hopes "wherever he is there's a golf course".
The Scottish actor was confirmed to have passed away this morning aged 90. He landed his first role as 007 in 1962's 'Dr. No', which propelled him to international stardom.
