BRENDAN Cole has denied having an advantage over his Dancing On Ice co-stars thanks to his 15 years on Strictly Come Dancing.
The 45-year-old has received harsh criticism from viewers thanks to his dance background, with some going as far as to call it a fix.
But Brendan has insisted this isn't the case. He said: "I think everybody’s got their own strength and weakness. "And you can’t compare apples with pears.
Yes, I find it easy to pick up choreography because it’s something I’ve done for many years, whereas somebody else may struggle. "There’s definitely a competition within a competition for the ones that have dance experience, of which there are a few." Also competing in the ITV competition are professional dancer Regan Gascoigne and Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt.
