Attempts at working out the Londoner's wealth suggest she has done well for herself, even before landing her Stateside break.Edgar-Jones is said to be worth more than £800,000, according to the website Stars Unfolded.However, that estimate was produced before the release of Where The Crawdads Sing.If the film, based on the Delia Owens international bestseller, proves a hit with audiences, then she could be in for a bank account-boosting windfall.Reviews of the film have not been kind, though.The Guardian’s Peter Bradshaw said the Bafta-nominated Normal People star deserved a better big-screen debut “than this southern gothic schmaltzer and its outrageously evasive cheat ending”.Despite her incredible on-screen chemistry with Normal People co-star Paul Mescal, the pair did not date.The duo regularly hang out though, with Daisy only two months ago posting a picture on Instagram of her smiling with her "best mate".Edgar-Jones was previously in a relationship with Ackley Bridge actor Tom Varey and admitted her ex watched the sex scenes between her and Paul through gritted teeth.Daisy and Tom were said to have fallen for each other on the set of 2018’s Pond Life.But they split in February 2021, with The Sun reporting that Edgar-Jones had.
