DaBaby performs on top of police car while appearing at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards, which aired on Sunday (August 30).

The 28-year-old rapper paid tribute to the Black Lives Matter movement and gave a nod to the police brutality protests during his performance. DaBaby performed a medley of his songs “Peep Hole,” “Blind,” and “Rockstar” while the dance group Jabbawockeez joined him on stage.

During the performance, he was seen in the back of a police car driven by two officers in face masks. The performance ended with DaBaby engulfed in flames while on top of the cop car. DaBaby is nominated for five awards tonight included Artist of the Year, Best Hip Hop Video for “Bop” and Song of the Summer for “Rockstar.” Watch the performance
