Cycling cheat Lance Armstrong had admitted to competing illegally at just 15 years old in triathlon races in a new documentary.
The American became an icon after winning seven consecutive Tour de France tournaments between 1999 to 2005 – but it all came crashing down after a US government doping investigation found he had taken performance-enhancing steroids.
Armstrong had originally fought accusations of doping but had to yield after the investigation banned him for life from cycling.
But a new documentary called “LANCE”, airing the first part on Sunday, has shown how the 48-year-old was playing on the wrong side of the rules even in his teenage years.
