Crowd funding page launched after house is gutted by fire in West Lothian

A hero couple have been left devastated after their house was gutted by fire while they were out shopping for their elderly parents.Robert and Julie Cumming, who are both key workers in the coronavirus fight, are now having to live in a hotel after flames tore through their Whitburn home.Their house was destroyed in the blaze which started while they were out picking up supplies for their parents at the weekend.The couple’s friends and family have now rallied round to support them and a fundraising page has been set up.Mike and Christine Siddall set up the Gofundme page, which has raised over £2000 in just a few days.They are also hoping tradespeople will step in to help.
