But when we caught-up with the legendary presenter, she spoke openly to us about her weight gain and the "hilarious" moment last November which prompted her to embark on her wellbeing mission. Lorraine, who has gone from a size 10 to a 14 over the pandemic and is following the WW plan to shed the lockdown pounds, told us: "I was talking to the boys from The Wanted on my show and my button pinged off my dress during the interview.

When we chat to Lorraine Kelly, she’s hiding in her husband Steve’s “wee den” upstairs in their London home so she can get a bit of peace and quiet. “We’ve got a full house because Rosie’s here and her wee boyfriend and her dog Ruby. So I’m up in the man cave,” she explains.

But I’m supposed to be a 10.
