Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals as Manchester United drew 2-2 with Atalanta on Tuesday night. Atalanta took the lead against United through Josip Ilicic, as his shot squirmed under David de Gea, just after the 10-minute mark, but Ronaldo got Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side back into the game again after a brilliantly worked team goal on the stroke of half-time.
The Italians regained the lead in the second half when Duvan Zapata took advantage of United's sloppy defending. United then searched for an equaliser and Solskjaer introduced Edinson Cavani, Nemanja Matic Jadon Sancho and Donny van de Beek in an attempt to find an equaliser, however, their efforts seemed in vain until five minutes of injury time were added.
