Corrie fans 'work out' Spider's new food waste storyline as return confirmed

Coronation Street fans reckon they might have rumbled one of Spider's future storylines - after it was revealed the Weatherfield legend was returning to the soap.Corrie bosses have already confirmed eco-warrior Spider Nugent (Martin Hancock) is set to return to Weatherfield 25 years after he first set foot on the cobbles.Now, one eagle-eyed soap fan has claimed they spotted a food waste campaign poster on a recent tour around the set in Manchester, which they think could relate to a future plot.They shared a black and white snap of the poster to Reddit on Monday (June 19) to be examined by fellow fans, who thought it could be linked to one of Spider's new storylines.The alleged poster is titled with the slogan: "Reuse Refuse" before it reads: "Saving Weatherfield from food waste.A date at the bottom read: "Launching 5/8/22," which could be a hint at when the potential eco-storyline was coming to the TV cobbles.The fan said: "Spotted this little poster on the Coronation Street set tour.
