Hundreds of thousands of doses arrived in Britain on Friday. They were taken to specialist refrigeration facilities and then were shipped to the 50 hospitals launching the first leg of the mass vaccination programme.
New pictures released tonight chart the progress of the long-awaited jab, and include snaps of the NHS card that will be issued to patients who receive their shots.
