The device that is manufactured by Manchester-based Rezzil, comes with foot and shinpad sensors alongside the headset, has been used to help players rehabilitate after injury, but could now be rolled out across the board.
The Daily Mail have reported that four of the traditional big six have had software installed at their training grounds, with a long-list of training exercised able to be completed on the device.
